Hundreds receive free care at annual OHSU health fair

Event’s current student organizers partner with one of its founders to improve health care access

Zach Kelser has been homeless since June after leaving Portland for a few years to care for his ailing father who was in hospice in Idaho. He returned to Portland and is staying at Blanchet House until he can get back out on his own. He stopped by the foot care booth to check on a bothersome corn and a few blisters from being on his feet. “This is my first time here, and everyone made me feel comfortable and relaxed.” (OHSU/Christine Torres Hicks)
