OHSU body donor Zella "Zell" Randall, who died Dec. 13, 2017. At right is her granddaughter Jennifer Mayo, M.D., at Mayo's 2006 graduation from the OHSU School of Medicine. Randall was inspired to donate her body to science after hearing Mayo talk about her gross anatomy class during a holiday break her first year in medical school.
